MIKE CRUMP
Crew Chief
Mike started going to races and working in race shops when he was a teenager. In 1979, he bought a race car and Mike Crump Racing Team was born.
He has worked with several drivers including, Vic Bentlage, Al Robinson and currently, Chris Smyser and Reid Millard.
Mike has led his teams to numerous titles and has increased the number of cars from 1 to 5.
He has been an auto parts salesman for 32 years in the mid Missouri area.
CHET MACKNEY
Main Chassis, Fabricator and Truck Driver
Chet started working on race cars right out of high school. He spent several years with driver, Eddie Gray, first sweeping floors and cleaning his shop, and ultimately becoming a member of the pit crew. When Gray retired, he joined Mike Crump Racing.
During the week, Chet works in the purchasing department at Capital Quarries.
MARK CRUMP
Motor Specialist, Tune-Up
The Crump Brothers, Mike and Mark, not only have worked on race cars together for several years, they've also worked at the same auto parts store for 30 years.
Mark's role is oriented to maintenance and inspection, mainly stopping problems before they occur.
GORDON WILSON
Maintenance
Gordon has been involved in racing for several years. He originally started with Johnny Stevens and then went to Ronnie Hoover. After several years off to raise a family, he rejoined the racing world with Crump Racing.
When he isn't working on race cars, he drives and operates a concrete pump truck for Mid America Pumping.
